Averos maintains its reputation as an innovation incubator by winning two Special Awards at the National Young Inventor Award (NYIA) 2022. This achievement was made possible through the innovative work of their students in the ART-PAPUA and PAPRIKOT projects.
ART-PAPUA (Artificial Intelligence Safe Device for Child Examination) is a revolutionary IoT-based healthcare solution for areas that are far from healthcare facilities and medical personnel. It is the result of the work of Malani Adri Komul and Grace Anastasia Tiku Limbu, under the guidance of David Piter Reymond Luhukay, S.Si.
On the other hand, PAPRIKOT is a device designed to assist search and rescue (SAR) personnel in rescue missions in remote areas. Built with two electronic devices, PAPRIKOT is equipped with a GPS module, 3-Axis Gyroscope sensor, and DHT22 sensor. This data is then transmitted via radio waves to the rescue post, enabling real-time monitoring of the situation. Fardiansyah Bakri and Satrio Ganis Sianturi, guided by David Piter Reymond Luhukay, S.Si, are the brilliant minds behind this innovation.
"These two projects demonstrate our dedication and commitment to designing innovative solutions for real challenges in society," said Luhukay. "We are extremely proud of our students' achievements and hope that these works will pave the way for more innovations in the future."
