Averos' presence in the international arena once again gained attention by winning a bronze medal at the International Exhibition for Young Inventors (IEYI) 2022 in Taiwan, thanks to their innovative bicycle safety device for the hearing-impaired.

Reza Ainun Najib and Kristina Basaria Manalu, students from SMA Averos, created a safety device that functions as a threat detector and GPS for individuals with hearing impairments. The device is designed to enhance the safety of bicycle users by detecting threats behind the bicycle and providing signals or signs on a monitor placed at the front of the bicycle.

Additionally, the device is equipped with GPS that can be accessed through a mobile phone, enabling bicycle users to easily determine their location.

David Piter Reymond Luhukay, S.Si, the supervising teacher, expressed, "We are proud of our students' achievements on the international stage. This innovation is an important step towards promoting safety and comfort for the hearing-impaired community."
