Averos once again proves its competence in the field of technological innovation by winning gold at the National Invention Project Contest (NIPC) 2022.

Raymond Andrezon and Malani Adri Komul, students from Averos High School, have created the "Supervision Device and Safety Education Application for Elderly People with Dementia Based on IoT". This innovation is designed to assist in monitoring and safeguarding elderly people with dementia.

The project utilizes a wristband equipped with a monitoring device that sends signals to a module placed at the dementia post or Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) facility. The information is then sent to the cloud and relayed to the caregiver, enabling them to immediately know the location of the lost elderly person.

"With this innovation, we hope to facilitate the care and support for elderly people with dementia," said David Piter Reymond Luhukay, S.Si, the accompanying teacher who has supported and guided Raymond and Malani in developing this project.
